Francesca Camilleri

I am a fashion student aspiring to work within fashion design as part of a team or independently in the future.
I am focused within womenswear although have worked briefly with menswear design. I have designed a t-shirt sold through the high street fashion retailer Blue Inc and 22000 were sold within the UK and overseas.
I am inspired to find new ways to celebrate the female form. For me art and design is a means to express myself both as a designer and as an individual.
I enjoy lingerie design and would love to work more with this in the future, I also enjoy bringing influence of lingerie into my fashion collections.
My collections are often inspired from a single source of inspiration and my creativity grows from there I enjoy research and working within a sketchbook to develop my ideas.
I have worked Fashion week both in London and in Rome and have designed for the Accademia Italiana Show for Alta Roma. I studied fashion design for one year in Rome, Italy.
I have always been keen to follow a career in fashion for the diversity and expression that it inspires within myself and also within others.

Japan Collection

This takes inspiration from Japanese culture, it combines influence from traditional Japanese fashion with modern day Tokyo street style.

Lost At Sea

Creative collection inspired by the sea, sailing & ancient myths of sirens. A combination of the feeling of being lost at sea & finding the strength to get out of danger.

Istanbul Fabric Desing Competition

Quirky geometric fabric prints Designed and awarded one of 20 Semi-finalists in Europe for international fabric design competition.

Chaplin Chic Fashion Photography

Vidal Sassoon

I supported a Vidal Sassoon Academy Soirée. Sassoon is a prestigious creative hair styling company in London closely linked with the fashion industry.

Sacred Geometry

Fabric prints designs created by hand and using CAD programs. Inspired by common ancient symbology and the culture of sacred geometry.

Blue Inc T-Shirt

This is a graphic design that I created during work experience in design studio in London. The t-shirt was sold through the High Street's fashion retailer Blue Inc.
